My favorite Random Act of Kindness I have experienced was about a month ago I was in a Chick-Fil-A drive thru and the car in front of me bought my meal. I was so happy to find that there are still selfless people in the world! Since my meal was paid for, I paid it forward and bought the meal of the car behind mine, even though it was $10 more than mine! I still felt really good doing it!
Thanks so much for this generous giveaway!
When I was in high school I went with a church group to bring dinner to a pregnant woman whose husband was deployed in the Army.
I think one of the best acts of kindness is to see someone. Really see them. Sometimes I get frustrated with people, but if I allow myself to see them, their problems, their lives, their perspective, I’m able to be what they need. A shoulder to cry on, a sounding wall, even a temporary (verbal) punching bag at times. To be that person without judgement or retaliation is a wonderful act of kindness.
It’s definitely the way our Town came together when my then 8 year old had Bone Cancer. They threw a Fund Raiser and local women’s clubs had meals prepared for me since I had no time to cook. because of her year long hospitalization and had other children to also tend to.The list of what they did and helped with is endless.

My husband is always doing RAK for me, he is thoughtful that way.
My hubby is in the military and had been gone for three months. On a trip to visit him, we went out to my favorite restaurant Outback. When it came time to pay, the waiter informed us that some other gentleman had paid for our dinners and we were free to leave at any time. It was the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. I will never forget it!
I try to help my 94 year old neighbor as much as possible. Helping with her yard work and other little things makes me feel good.
I love the one where you pay for the person behind you in the Drive-Thru.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Thank you for the Giveaway!!

I was at the grocery store one day when I had my first child getting diapers, formula, and the such. I got to the register and went to pay for my stuff and could not find my wallet anywhere. I was so embarrassed but the lady behind me stepped in and paid for my stuff. I got her name and address and took the money over to her later. Come to find out (I was married to a military man), her husband was the Commander in charge of my husbands Battallion and she knew who I was because my husband had just got promoted and they had had a informal ceremony for him, she had attended and seen me. I thought this was the coolest thing ever!
When a few friends of mine bought myself and another friend Bon Jovi tickets( really c lose too) because I wasn’t able to afford to go myself. That was the best RAK I ever received.
letting a mother and her kids move in with me because she was homeless.
The person in front of me in the McDonalds drive-thru paid for my order about a year ago
I think it was when I forgot my USB drive in the computer lab in the art department at my college. It held all of my art info and pictures, along with assignments, I was devastated when I found out that I had forgotten it. Although it took about a month to get it back I was very grateful to whom ever it was that found it and reported to the professor.
Someone paid for my sweet tea in the drive through
Thanks for the giveaway
A friend posted on fb that the first four people to respond to her post would get a surprise sometime in the next year, whether it was a candle, card, book, whatever. I responded and am looking forward to a little surprise. I also did the same post on my own fb. Cute idea:)

I got a flat tire and a man changed the tire for me.
Thanks for the giveaway!! Random acts of kindness happen all the time. Sometimes we don’t even notice when they occur. Living on a christian college campus, I’m constantly thanking people for opening doors to the point of ridiculousness. In fact, the other day while I was working at the campus store, a young boy, probably the age of 16, found $17 on the floor and turned it in claiming that someone had dropped it. How honest and sweet is that!?
Happy Valentine’s Day and I hope your day is filled with random acts of kindness!

iI lost my cable bill one time and when I went to the cable company to pay it, they told me someone else had already paid it. That really helped me out as I had just gotten divorced and had four children to support.
Came out of the store and found a $10 bill on my window I than gave it to a little boy that came out of the store after me.. Great Giveaway..Thanks
I got a great box of books from a fellow book blogger for my birthday last year, it was so sweet and completely random!
I think the biggest act of kindness I’ve experienced is a student in my class who takes the teachers’ lunch garbage to throw it away for us every single day. He never forgets!
Someone paid to have my car fixed when I couldn’t afford it.
My favorite RAK’s are when you least expect it. Like when someone lets another car onto the road that has been waiting there.
I love hearing about Random Acts of Kindness and try to do them when it comes up. I always hear about people getting free coffee due to the person in front of them and stuff like that. Thank you for the chance to win such a generous prize!
when my dad died, this woman i barely knew made this beautiful case to keep the flag we received from the army in. it was such a sweet, thoughtful thing to do as we hadn’t even thought of what to do with his flag. i will never forget that act of kindness.
When our car broke down my friend’s husband not only offered to fix it, but they lent us their only car as we were going away for the weekend. It was amazingly kind.
Small things like buying me coffees without asking or opening doors. I like that sort of thing
Thanks for this giveaway!. Once it was raining heavily here and I was walking towards the bus stand because rain or not, I had to go to work. But at one point I reached a place where there was too much water and I knew even in my high heels, it will be higher than my ankles. I was searching around to find a way around when a total stranger came towards me and dragged some bricks into my way. It was just 4 bricks placed at equal distances from each other, like a path!. I was so shocked. He didn’t wait around to be thanked. Just walked away!. I quickly crossed using the bricks and reached the bus stand.
When I was pregnant with my daughter I was went in to Target, just to pick up some diapers and other things so we could prepare for the baby (I was a week till my due date) and a lady at the check out handed me a $100 bill and told me that she wished me and my baby a long healthy life. I was so stunned and filled with pregnancy hormones that I just started crying. It was so sweet. I tried to tell her that I didn’t need it but she said that wasn’t the point. Still till this day I still get teary eyed thinking of that woman.
Since that memorable moment, I try to spread the kindness when ever I can. maybe one day someone will think of a memory with me in it and smile and think I was a good person.
Giving always brings me more joy than receiving. Thank you for this giveaway!
Just people opening the door for me or helping me out while I was pregnant. It was really nice to feel cared about by total strangers!
holding the door open for someone
One day I was waiting at the bus stop and it was freezing rain and my hands were freezing because I’m a California girl and was unprepared for Pennsylvania winters when we moved. A nice lady let me borrow her gloves once I got on the bus, and the next day I was anonymously given a gift bag with a pair of amazingly soft gloves. I still don’t know who it was who gifted them to me – I suspected the lady who lent me her gloves, but she insists it wasn’t her. Either way, I am grateful.
I gave a ton of books to my old high school past fall
Felt great!
Thanks for the giveaway. I’ve heard plenty of RAK stores, like giving out second hand school books for free and stuff.
Mine was when my friend got me 3 books for no reason
Thanks for this giveaway. Amongst my most memorable RAK’s was when someone came and ploughed snow from my driveway when I was sick, without being asked or expecting payment.
My favorite random act of kindness? God sent His son to die for me. That is my favorite! My second fave? Occasionally my husband will bring me a huge bouquet of flowers from our pasture with a few roses from our bushes mixed in!
I love when food is involved. Making a plate of cookies for no reason but to make another person happy. Small favors like holding the door open for someone.
I like baking for those who don’t expect it!
i know this sounds trivial, however, last week i was having a terrible day at work and my coworker went and bought me a soda to make me feel better. it honestly made my day so much better, just to know someone was thinking about me. love this blog hop, thanks for participating.

I once had a stranger pay for my gas. That was really nice.
Every year for the last 4 years, someone has anomysously dropped off a huge box of presents for our 4 kids. They easily spend about $1000 on our family! We always get a gift card for the local grocery store as well! Its made me believe in “Santa” again!
I have not experienced any random acts of kindness.
A random person invited us to Thanksgiving dinner right after my husband passed away.
I have a RAK that I can be grateful for everyday and still think about to this day. One christmas we were having a rough year trying to get presents for our kids. We had a family adopt us for christmas. it not only made my day it was great to see the kids opening presents on christmas day. They even gave us some giftcards to walmart so we could buy other things for the kids. I try to pay it forward when i can. I like to drop a couple toys in the toys for tots every christmas and i love to drop my change in the red kettles at christmas time and recently we gave someone behind us at starbucks a few cents that we had left on a giftcard. We don’t drink starbucks often but it was less then a buck that was on there so it wasn’t much but it was something off the bill for the girl behind us. it felt good especially when her and her friend were trying to figure out why hers was cheaper.
My neighbor know I love to read, so she recently gave me a big bag of books.
I hear about RAK’s all the time too. Let me tell you about my RAK. I usually don’t give money to people standing on corners or asking at the gas station. However one day I was at the gas station and a young man, dressed kind of scrubby came up and asked if I had 65 cents. I asked him why just 65 cents. He said needed it to make up $5.00 so he could get some gas. He had 2 young children in his car and I asked him if they were his. He said no, they were his niece and nephew and he was babysitting them for his sister. He said he took them out for ice cream and thought he had enough gas to get back home before his sister came to pick them up. I looked in my purse and saw I had a $20.00 bill, a $5.00 bill and some loose change. (not enough to make up 65 cents) I gave him the $5.00 bill and told him to used that for gas. He said “No ma’am, I only need 65 cents and I will give you the change back. I almost cried at how honest he was and told him that I would not take it back. Since I was finished putting the gas in my car, I just got in and left. It is so refreshing to see someone so honest. I also bought lunch for a man that looked to be homeless when he asked if he could get a dollar to buy a hot dog and a local hamburger joint. (I was at lunch with some coworkers) I took him inside and told him to get something to eat and drink. He ordered a hot dog only. I got him some fries and a drink too and paid for it. when I got back to my table with my coworkers, they asked my why I gave the man money. They thought it was a scam. I told them I didn’t give him money, I bought him lunch. Something about him and the way he approached me made me want to help him. I have been the recipient of RAK;’s and I try to pay it forward.
Thanks for being part of the hop and for the chance to win.

My favorite RAK was something I did once…. we don’t live in a big city or anything so you almost never see someone holding a “hungry” sign… well, this guy and his dog were on the side of the road right in front of a WalMart… well, I didn’t have any cash so I went in and grabbed the few items I needed and added on a $20 WalMart gift card. I went out and delivered that and some food I just bought to the guy. He had tears in his eyes (as did I) and was so grateful. It was certainly one of the best RAK moments.

My favorite RAK? I met this GREAT author online on goodreads. She had sent me her book to do a review on it. And we kept in touch and have been writing to each other ever since. So Christmas came around and she had found out that I wasn’t having a Christmas because I was having money problems. And she packed a box full of toys and other AWESOME things and sent it to me to put under the Christmas Tree. I was so shocked at all the amazing things she sent to my family and me. I haven’t had anything like this happen to me ever. She is the most kind-hearted, caring lady I have ever met. I love this giveaway and what it stands for. I think there should be a lot more RAK’s from people.Thank you for a chance to win and for being a part of this fun and awesome blog hop!!
