Who doesn’t love Bacon… Bacon Bacon BACON!! I recently saw some very interesting desserts on Pinterest that were Bacon infused and inspired… made my mouth water!So when given the opportunity to do this #TXBacon shop, I jumped at the chance! I just needed to decide which dessert I wanted to make… Chocolate Bacon Cupcakes, Spicy Chocolate Covered Bacon (super easy recipe coming later), Caramel Bacon Popcorn, or Cinnamon Bacon Rolls. The hubby voted Cinnamon Bacon Rolls, so that is what we are going to make!

We had been on vacation right before going shopping so this shopping trip was to restock our fridge also! So I made my list and headed to our local HEB, which was just remodeled and looks great inside and out…

Along with restocking our fridge we bought our 2 ingredients for the Cinnamon Bacon Rolls!! The Petit Jean Bacon was super easy to find right next to the HEB brand!

Yummy Cinnamon Rolls!

My little monkey was in regular silly form while shopping…

She is always making me laugh!! I love it

She was super excited to bake with me! I have been trying to get her more involved in helping me bake and cook more! I had a bloggy friend make us some super cute matching aprons…

Now we are ready to start baking!! Plus look how great we look! Baking these were super easy and great to do with a two year old!! I definitely recommend trying these out for your selves…

Cinnamon Bacon Rolls Recipe: (Inspired by Rainy Day Gal)

2 Cans of your favorite Cinnamon Rolls (we used Grands)

1 Pkg of Petit Jean Bacon

DIRECTIONS:

Fry the Bacon a few minutes on each side leaving the bacon flexible (I used a griddle to cook it all at once and to make sure that they layed flat while cooking). I cooked a couple of pieces until crispy, crumbled them, and set it aside.

Open the cinnamon rolls set the icing aside, take them apart and unroll them. Place bacon in each section and roll tightly(I used 3 -4 pieces for each roll). Pinch the end together so that the roll bakes together without coming apart. Place in non stick baking dish. Bake according to directions on cinnamon roll package.

Look how delicious they turned out!

Topping:

Mix the icing(that comes with the cinnamon rolls) with the crispy crumbled bacon and pour over the top of the warm Cinnamon Bacon Rolls! Serve & Enjoy!

** You could also use strips of ham to roll up in the Cinnamon Rolls**
