Our question this week is…

What is your favorite food or dish??

  1. It depends… Normally, yes… as it is fun and we have a great time… but there can be times when the fun runs out pretty fast!!! LOL

  2. For short visits yes.

  3. No one visits us! haha. My family lives 2 miles away, and we end up seeing each other at the store!

  4. I wish my family was here so they could, but I love it when the grandkids come to visit. It's a fun time.

  5. Our family pretty much all live very nearby, so I've never really had to experience "family visits". We see our families all the time. Have fun!

  6. Only for the day! LOL Our families live close enough to drive down for the day and go home. We have a small home which wouldn't accommodate a lot of people spending the night.Hope you are having fun with your mom! Have a great weekend.

  7. I'm with Noelle-It depends. Some of my family are very negative and it's very hard to take it for long periods of time, but some of them are genuinely nice to be around.Ultimately, yes though. I love my family :)Happy Friday!

  8. It depends. The inlaws make me uncomfortable. I try to be good host but I'd like them to go quickly. Now if it's my SIL who is my best friend. She can stay LONG LONG TIME :D

  9. I love when my family comes out. We always have such a good time. I think it works because we know how to do things as a family, and do our own thing. I have the type of family where you can introduce them to a friend of yours, they've never met and the next thing you know, their out having a good time.

  10. It depends. I don't like it when they just "drop by" without calling first.

  11. All my family is here in town so no overnight visitors which is nice mainly it is a nice thing but with them so close sometimes it can be too much and make my life crazy.

  12. depends who it is! hehe …kidding…kinda :) I love it!

  13. For short visits yes – especially if it's my sister, who usually brings way too much stuff with her, and it's always scattered everywhere! LOL! :) Pack Rat Mode: Aloha Stalk Hop Friday

  14. I love family visiting if I have enough of a "head's up" to get my home in order…ish. ;)

  15. I love it when family visits! We always have a great time and laugh till we cry! Here's my Aloha

  16. I only wish they could visit :)Have a great day!http://harrietandfriends.com/2011/06/dear-comcast/

  17. Yes!

  18. We live in a State that people try to escape so they don't visit much. I'm sort of an introvert too so not so much on hosting in-home guests. I'm a new follower.

  19. I love having house guests!

  20. It depends on which side of the family. :-)My family is always welcomed. My in-laws . . . not so much.

  21. I LOVE IT!!!

  22. I used to love fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Then I loved nachos, and now nothing seems to sound good. OR rather lot’s of things sound good, they just don’t look good or taste good once I get them on my plate. LOL

I will be working on your aprons. I got the other fabric yesterday when we went to get our cabinets. Sorry it’s taking me so long. With Mike off for 2 weeks, it has been nuts! I will probably have to wait until Monday before I can work on them, but it should only take me a night or two to get them done once my kitchen table doesn’t have all my dishes on it. :)

  23. That’s a tough one…I would probably go with chicken burritos or something Mexican.

  24. My grandmother’s pasta and “loose gravy”.

  25. hands down Thai Food. The best I’ve had was in New Zealand, just incredible!

  26. I love salmon, Maple glazed baked.

  27. My favorite is anything with pasta! Though I’d probably love your sister’s chicken and broccoli casserole! :)

  28. My favorite dish is rice and peas and chicken from my mother’s hand. OH GOSH I LOVE IT!

I need to learn to make it properly.

    Aloha!

  29. I’ve rediscovered yogurt thanks to all the Greek yogurt out there.

    Have a great Friday!

  30. Fried chicken, macaroni & cheese, not that boxed stuff, real casserole mac n cheese, broccoli salad and a Caramel Cake!

  31. Oh, that’s a tough one. Sometimes it’s pizza, sometimes it’s chili, very often it’s turkey dinner.

  32. My favorite is Angel Hair Pasta with meat sauce.

  33. I LOVE pizza. Not sure why, but I just do.

  34. Coming by because I saw you on Triberr! I thought this was going to be a recipe or a linky, but I like that it’s nice and easy to just say anything potatoes related is my fave. And pasta. I’m a starchy kind of girl. :)

  35. I have too many favorites to pick just one – pizza, wings, queso, feta cheese, and olives are among the favorites but there are so many others I love too!

  36. My favorite dish is the raw vegan burgers I mske….it’s not forbeveryone but I do love them!’n

  37. My favorite dish is pinakbet.

    Cassy from Country Guitar Lessons

  38. That’s a tough one! there’s so much good food out there. I know it’s basic, but a well baked loaf of fresh warm bread and butter will get me every time. Mmmmm.
